Thereafter Restoration Studio was founded with a deep love for art and it's history and a commitment to preserving the beauty of historical pieces. My journey began in Florence, Italy, on Via Toscanella, 18R. I studied water gilding and painting restoration with masters, Stefania and Carlo Martelli at their bottega, Oro e Colore. Many of their professional works include restoration pieces from Uffizi, Museo Bargello and Della Accademia. My training includes plein air painting, botanical illustration and Bargue/Jean-Leon Gerome classical drawing and intensives on botanical drawing by Sarah Simblet at The Ruskin School of Art at Oxford, UK.  I take great pride in my meticulous attention to detail, dedication to quality craftsmanship, and personal connection to each piece I work on. I respect and follow the principles and code of ethics concerning art restoration
